Medicare & Medicaid Overview

When one is mentioned, you often see the other. Medicare and Medicaid are both government programs, but they work differently. Here’s how they’re different: Medicare is for people who are age 65 and older, or people under 65 who qualify because of a disability or other special situation. Medicaid is for people and families with lower incomes.
